Last call – a poem

large

Silence were words we heard on the both ends of the receivers

And I felt her heart bleeding in mine

Flooded eyes, shivering limbs and with this devastated state of mind

We both knew that we can’t help us this time

And on my cheeks I could feel my tears crawl

I know this was the end, this was her last call.
